  • Mediums and oils: glazing medium, paste medium, Dutch varnish, bleached linseed oil, siccatives, and retarders.
  • MIR extra-fine and studio oils in 20, 60, and 200 ml tubes.
  • MIR (GARVI) and Lascaux Studio fine and studio acrylics, including metallics and the Sirius® primary mixing system.
  • Watercolors and gouache: MIR extra-fine watercolors, Lascaux Aquacryl®, and opaque acrylic tempera.

Uses and applications

This collection covers both artistic creation—oil, acrylic, watercolor, and mixed media on canvas, board, or paper—and retouching and chromatic reintegration in conservation-restoration. For reintegration, pure pigments formulated with a reversible binder, along with watercolors and gouache applied over an isolation layer, offer the reversibility required by conservation criteria; oils and acrylics are suitable for artistic creation and for interventions where reversibility with mild solvents is not required. Select the binder and finish according to the reversibility, opacity, and drying time of each job.
