Lascaux Transparent Varnish UV 1, 2 and 3 — acrylic varnishes with UV (ultraviolet) filter

Three transparent acrylic varnishes by Lascaux that form an elastic yet hard, scratch-resistant film. They contain UV (ultraviolet) stabilisers for the best possible protection outdoors. Colourless and water-resistant when dry, they are highly transparent, age- and weather-resistant, lightfast and non-yellowing.

They are used as a final varnish and UV protection for acrylic colours and ink-jet prints. Not suitable for water-soluble substrates. Dilute with water in a 4:1 ratio and apply at least two thin coats.

• Varnish 1 UV gloss: glossy, crystal-clear finish; also suitable as a final varnish over gold leaf.
• Varnish 2 UV matt: matt, clear finish.
• Varnish 3 UV satin: satin (semi-gloss) finish.
