Humade is a multidisciplinary design studio based in the Netherlands, founded by the sisters Gieke and Lotte. Their work stems from a constant dialogue between matter, space and human beings, with a sustainable and social focus : their products are manufactured locally and assembled in collaboration with companies that provide employment to people with difficulties accessing the labor market.

Pioneers in Europe, they created the first Kintsugi kit , inspired by the Japanese tradition of repairing broken objects with gold. Instead of hiding cracks, they highlight them , making each repair unique and personal.

With everything you need included, their kits allow you to rediscover the beauty in brokenness. A proposal that unites craftsmanship, design, and responsibility: repairing is also creating.
