Liquitex Professional Soft Body Cadmium-Free Red Light 946 ml — opaque red with high tinting strength at low viscosity
Artists’ acrylic paint from the Liquitex Professional Soft Body range, a range that is water-based, low-viscosity and satin-finish, with a high pigment load and subtle brushwork. This colour is an opaque light red with orange tones and high tinting strength, cadmium-free, formulated to reproduce the brilliance, covering power and intensity of cadmium red light.
What is it used for?

- Glazes, blends and gradients.
- Fine detail and crisp edges (hard-edge).

Liquitex is part of the Colart group. The Soft Body range was created in 1955.
The limits, stated plainly
- Supports: stretched canvas, photographic paper, plaster and brick, clay and ceramic, paper and cardboard, wood, fabric and glass. On any of them the condition is the same: if the paint adheres, it can be used.
- Storage: away from ignition sources, direct sunlight and extremely high or low temperatures; in its original container, closed, in a cool, well-ventilated place.
- Incompatibilities: strong acids and strong bases; do not mix with them.
Safety
- Mixture not classified as hazardous under Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (CLP, classification, labelling and packaging).
- EUH208 (CLP supplemental information statement): Contains reaction mass of 5-chloro-2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one and 2-methyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one (3:1), 1,2-benzisothiazol-3(2H)-one and 2-methyl-1,2-benzisothiazol-3(2H)-one. May produce an allergic reaction.
- Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
- Respiratory protection is not required under normal conditions of use.
- Do not pour residues down the drain; dispose of them in accordance with local regulations.

It is a mixture not classified as hazardous under the CLP. It carries the EUH208 statement because of its preservatives: it may produce an allergic reaction. Avoiding contact with skin and eyes is recommended. Under normal conditions of use, respiratory protection is not needed.
