146 × 97 cm. “80” is the number in the traditional stretcher numbering system and the letter indicates the proportion: F (Figure), P (Landscape) or M (Marine).
What is the difference between the 80P and the 80F?
Both measure 146 cm on the long side. The 80F (Figure) is 114 cm on the short side and the 80P (Landscape), 97 cm: it is more oblong. In No. 80, this range has no Marine format.
Is the canvas pure linen? What weight is it?
Yes: 100% linen, long-fibre and of European origin. The weight is 465 g/m², which is the weight of the canvas once prepared.
Does it come prepared, or does it need priming?
It comes prepared, with a three-coat preparation, suited to oil and acrylic.
