Lefranc Bourgeois “Superior Quality” 120P linen stretched canvas — 195 × 114 cm of prepared linen for oil and acrylic
Stretched canvas of 100% linen in the traditional No. 120 P format, 195 × 114 cm. In this format the number sets the long side and the letter the proportion: F (Figure), P (Landscape) or M (Marine); 120P is No. 120 in Landscape proportion. The canvas arrives factory-prepared with a triple-layer coating, hand-stretched onto a kiln-dried pine stretcher and fixed with tacks. Unlike a rigid support, it is stretched canvas that can be re-tensioned with keys.
What is it used for?
- Oil painting in large format, directly on the factory ground.
- Acrylic painting in large format, on the same ground.
- Work intended for exhibition and sale: this is the purpose this range is designed for, made for professional artists.
Why choose the “Superior Quality” linen stretched canvas?
- 100% long-fibre linen, of European origin. Fibre selected in this range for the fineness of its weave and its stability over time.
- 465 g/m² (weight of the prepared canvas), with a triple-coat ground applied at the factory.
- Traditional mounting: canvas hand-stretched and fixed with tacks onto kiln-dried pine sections, designed to resist warping.
- Re-tensionable: it has wooden keys for re-tensioning the canvas.
- The range is declared archival quality and acid-free.
