Laponite® RD - Thickener for cleaning gels (Kremer)

Laponite® RD is a synthetic powdered silicate that acts as a thickener and rheological modifier in water. In conservation-restoration, it is used to prepare cleaning gels and poultices that retain solutions on the surface and allow for controlled action. Original Kremer Pigmente product (manufactured by BYK Additives).
