3M 10196 Work Goggles — Adjustable Temples and Anti-fog

3M goggles with clear, frameless polycarbonate monolens, anti-fog treatment, and a soft nose clip. The temples are adjustable in length and height, so they adapt to different faces without pressing on the temples. These are the go-to goggles for the Conservation-Restoration (C&R) workshop: sanding stucco, dusting, cutting, disassembling a frame. The limitations are listed one by one below.

Does it fit any face?
The temples adjust in two ways: in length, to bring the lens closer or further away, and in height, to raise or lower it. With this and the soft nose clip, it adapts to quite different faces without pressing on the temples.
Is it suitable for working with acetone or solvents?
Not for that. Avoid contact of the lens with acetone, methyl ethyl ketone, and chlorinated solvents. For continuous work with solvents, use specific goggles.
Does it have a UV filter? I work with a Wood's lamp.
It is not a filtering goggle: the lens is colorless. If you work with a Wood's lamp or photopolymerization, write to us and we will find the filtering goggles you need.
Can they be worn over prescription glasses?
We do not state that in this description. If you wear prescription glasses and need the work goggles to fit over them—what is called over-goggles—, write to us before buying via WhatsApp and we will discuss it with you.
Do they fog up when working bent over or with a mask?
They have a factory anti-fog treatment, which is precisely for this case: when leaning over your work or wearing a mask. This treatment is a coating and degrades if cleaned with solvent or rubbed with rough paper; with lukewarm water, neutral soap, and a soft cloth, it is preserved.
