Divolo Gold Bole is a ready-to-use preparation for water gilding, made in Florence with high-purity natural clays and handcrafted rabbit-skin glue already incorporated. With a creamy and homogeneous texture, it offers uniform application and excellent adhesion on stucco or primer, with a luminous and stable finish that reproduces the deep shine and chromatic richness of classic Italian gilding. Available in yellow ochre, 300 ml.

Recommended Use

Gently heat the bole in a bain-marie until it acquires a fluid texture. Apply one or more layers to the primed surface. While still slightly damp, apply the gold or silver leaf. Once dry, burnish with an agate stone until the desired shine and uniformity are achieved.
