Grogged clay gives a unique rough texture, like a river stone. It is a bowl for the hand as much as for the eye: it weighs just what it should and feels good to hold.

Empty, it is already beautiful. Full —of fruit, of keys, of whatever— it becomes the calm centre of a home.
