Tylose MH 300 P2 – Cellulose Ether for Conservation and Restoration

Tylose MH 300 P2 is a non-ionic cellulose ether (methyl hydroxyethyl cellulose, CAS No. 9032-42-2 — the international registry number that identifies each chemical substance), soluble in cold water. It is manufactured by SE Tylose GmbH & Co. KG (Wiesbaden, Germany) and distributed by Lascaux under reference 4181, which declares it for the preservation and restoration of art and cultural assets. Supplied in a 500 g jar.

Applications

• Adhesive for paper, cardboard, textiles and collages
• Thickening agent for aqueous cleaning gels and pastes
• Paper sizing in book and document restoration
• Filling mixed with fillers (calcium carbonate, etc.)

• Not classified as hazardous under Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008
• Aqueous solutions intended for long storage should be preserved
