Tylose MH 300 P2 – Cellulose Ether for Conservation and Restoration

Tylose MH 300 P2 is a high-purity cellulose ether (methyl hydroxyethyl cellulose), soluble in cold water, developed by Lascaux for professional applications in conservation, restoration, and fine arts. Its reversible formula and neutral pH make it a reference material for working with sensitive supports without risk of alteration. Available in a 500 g jar.

Applications

• Reversible adhesive for paper, cardboard, textiles, and collages
• Consolidant for paint layers and fragile surfaces
• Thickening agent for aqueous cleaning gels and pastes
• Paper sizing in book and document restoration
• Protective barrier prior to stronger consolidants
