Mini Immersion Blender for Emulsions with Accessories

The Mini Stick Mixer for Emulsions provides the shear needed for a system that doesn't homogenize on its own: emulsions, thickener dispersions, and resin soaps. It's a benchtop machine, for the preparation step, and works with the actual volumes of this work: from a few tens to about 150 ml.

How to use it

• Always prepare in a laboratory glass beaker or polypropylene beaker, with enough height for the stick to work submerged without splashing. The device's small cup is not used.
• It is a household appliance, not built for flammable atmospheres. Work with localized extraction or in a fume hood, never on an open table, and without flammable products in the beaker: for these, use manual stirring or a closed container.
• Clean the stick thoroughly between preparations. A residue from the previous one falsifies the result of the next, and that is the error that most contaminates a test table.
• The ideal is one stick per system family, to avoid cross-contamination.
