MIR Dutch Varnish Medium — for Oil

Dark reddish in tone, it improves the elasticity, drying, and flow of oil paint, providing gloss and transparency to the paint film while preventing cracking. Diluted with essences, it can also be used as a final varnish.

Uses and applications

Painting medium for oil painting and, diluted with Turpentine Essence or Odorless Mineral Spirits, as a final warm-toned varnish. Especially recommended when an aging effect is desired due to its tonality.
