Safetop 31700 FFP3 NR D vertical fold-flat mask with valve

FFP3 NR D vertical fold-flat mask in very soft polypropylene, with exhalation valve. Designed for studio tasks that raise fine dust: sanding, preparing pigments and fillers, mechanical cleaning.

What is it used for?

• Sanding fills, putties and gesso grounds.
• Weighing and dispersing powdered pigments and fillers.
• Dust removal and mechanical cleaning of surfaces and supports.
• Mechanical removal of overpaints, mortars and old fills.

Features

• Class FFP3 NR D, to EN149:2001+A1:2009.
• Filters solid and liquid particles: dust, fumes and aerosols, including water-based and oil-based ones.
• Vertical fold-flat design with a 2.5 cm diameter exhalation valve that makes breathing easier.
• Made of very soft polypropylene, with heat-sealed edges.
• Adjustable nose clip built into the body of the mask, for a personalised fit.
• No staples: a single adjustable elastic strap, so the mask can hang at chest height without taking it off when not in use.
• Latex-free and graphene-free.

When the work involves solvents

For varnishing, consolidating or cleaning with solvents, the equipment is the 4600 series silicone half mask with the ABEK1P3 combined filter, which adds the retention of organic gases and vapours to that of particles.
