Concentrated gesso for preparing rigid or flexible surfaces that will then receive water-based or oil-based paints, with a single coat. When dry, it forms a self-leveling film with an opaque, permeable appearance. It has great opacity and adhesion.
Why choose this gesso?
- Concentrated: prepares the surface in a single coat.
- Self-leveling, opaque, and highly adhesive.
- Base for acrylics, tempera, oils, and inks.
Uses and Applications
Priming of rigid and flexible supports (wood panel, cardboard, canvas) for oil and acrylic painting. Apply pure with a brush or roller; sand with fine sandpaper once dry if desired. It is an artist-quality acrylic primer (for conservation-grade preparations, see C&R's specific preparations). Choose the format from the dropdown menu.
