Frequently asked questions
Why not use a normal makeup sponge?
The vulcanized latex in conventional sponges releases sulfur, which tarnishes and attacks soft and gilded metals over time. Wishab is made of inert polyurethane, without this risk.
What is the difference between soft, hard, and extra-hard?
The hardness determines the aggressiveness of the cleaning: soft for very delicate surfaces, hard for general use, extra-hard for more adherent dirt.
Can it be dampened?
It is designed for dry cleaning. Wet use depends on the cleaning protocol you are applying — consult your professional judgment or write to us.
Is it also suitable for paper?
Above you have the "White Flexible" and "White Hard" variants, designed for documents and paper. The rest (Hard, Extra-Hard, Coco) are designed for paint, frescoes, and hard surfaces.
