Cyclododecane — Volatile temporary consolidant (Kremer)

Cyclododecane is a volatile waxy material that sublimes without leaving a residue within 20-48 hours. In conservation-restoration, it is used as a consolidant and temporary masking agent to protect sensitive surfaces during aqueous treatments, cleaning, or transport. Non-toxic and water-repellent. Original Kremer Pigmente product.
