BEVA 371 Akron — The world-renowned heat-seal adhesive

Thermoplastic adhesive formulated with ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymers, the most widely used and recognized for lining and paint layer consolidation. The manufacturer gives an activation temperature of 60-65 °C (150-160 °F), and this Akron version is optimised for heat-sealing at 65 °C.

Is it the same as BEVA 371 Film?
No. This is the liquid version; BEVA 371 Film is the adhesive already formed into a pre-made sheet, for a different type of application.
How is it removed if necessary?
The manufacturer states that it is reversible by heat and by low-aromatic petroleum solvents, and that it can be removed from absorbent surfaces with hexane or acetone.
Is it suitable for modern acrylic paint?
